Hello Joyce,
The American Society of Traditional Artists aims for the highest standards of quality in all its endeavors. American Society of Traditional Artists, also known as (ASTA). Will be taking a clear and precise path: to promote a better understanding and appreciation of the art that our members produce, through our annual exhibitions and lectures at museum event.
We’re living in an amazing era for traditional representational art. Much has changed over the last fifteen years; more and more ateliers are springing up across America teaching the 600-year-old methods of past greats, resulting in a movement unlike any seen since the Renaissance.
New doors are now opening for ASTA and their artists – we look forward to expanding our reach with major museums across the US, and expanding our reach with community and youth programs and providing even more support to our members.
Ed would like to personally invite all of his artists and facebook friends to check out the American Society of Traditional Artists, http://www.ASTArtists.com After spending ten years as the founder of Western Artists of American and working with Museum Directors, he is now setting up his new organization for Traditional Artists so that they will have the opportunity to show in a Museum event. After reviewing your art, he would like to extend an invitation to you, for your consideration as to becoming a MEMBER of ASTA. After reviewing our web site please download the application forms to answer all your questions.
American Society of Traditional Artists was formed to showcase the talents of the many professional fine artists of today, irrespective of gender, ethnicity, or political views. Judgments are based upon the superiority of the artwork, no matter how difficult that is to clarify.
We are working with Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine to do an interview about ASTA for their American Forum of Realism. We will be participating with them at the Los Angeles Conference in November for articles and information about the artists we represent and our organization for Traditional Artists.
We are negotiating our show dates for this November’s event and will be posting them on our website soon. For this year’s membership into ASTA our judging committee’s cut of date is June 30, 2011.
Note: Artists receive 70% commission on their retail price from the Museum, a lot better commission rate them most Galleries. Artists also receive the buyer’s name for future follow up. Our events will have heavy video and media coverage through DM Productions.
Please don’t miss your opportunity to becoming a member of ASTA and participating in our first Museum event.
Sincerely,
Anna Kenyon
